- Lucent Technologies, Year 2000 Patent Recognition for  “A General Class of Multiple Speed Multiple Processing Systems ” Patent, Plaque and Certificate of Achievement presented in June 2000.

- Second Award for Achievement for the Four Generic Patents on Knowledge Processing (c), (d), (e) and (f) listed on page 3, by the Advanced Technologies at Lucent.  Plaque and Certificate Presented in June 2000.

- December 1991: Elected IEEE Fellow, Endorsed by the Communications Society as a Fellow Grade Engineer/Scientist. The IEEE Citation is "For Contributions to the Study and Design of Digital Subscriber Lines".
