The Peoples of Islam believe that the teachings of the Prophet are inspired by Almighty Allah and carried to him by the Arch Angel Jebriel (Gabriel). These Names of the Propheth convey his qualities as a human being and also as the last Messenger of Allah. Both aspects of his personality have made him unique and esteemed. The capacity of Prophet Muhammad to live and die like a human, to guide and lead like a caliph, to fight and conquer oppression and cruelty like a prophet have made him a gift to mankind for whom the angels sing in praise. Yet his inspirations and his teachings are not all human. His role as a mortal, a prophet, a leader, a guide, etc. are conveyed by the (104) Names of the beloved Prophet. These verses presented in this book carry the impressions of the Prophet by his qualities and by his strengths by which he was known to his companions. The poetic style for the Quatrains is either a4 or the a2ba pattern.
