The Names of Allah. Doors within Doors Each of the Single Names of Allah (see “The Infinities of Human Thought”) is an intellectual refuge for the soul that strays into a harsh and chaotic universe. The Journey is riddled with mysteries that grab the innocent and unwary. These Names of Allah bring back the Order and Light to dispel the deception and to banish the chaos. When these combined Names are interpreted with truth, beauty and virtue, they get intensified many times and enhance the solace in the refuge to an unending meditation that spans eternity. Man blends into nature like light blends into the universe to sing the songs of the mountains that angels have sung for a million eons. Reality becomes boundless and verses become the whispers from eternity. The ritual of prayer becomes a abstention from the raw instinct that demeans the intellect and soul. These Names of Allah become the banner against the calls of the wild, the wicked and the evil.
